IVORY NIGHT – THE HEALING

Music and beyond.

THE HEALING is an ambitioned piece of work created by the band comprising members of ROSS THE BOSS (the famous co-founder of MANOWAR), former drummer of Germany's Top-20 Rockoutfit SALTATIO MORTIS and new recruit Benedikt Zimniak, guitarist of the legendary Avantgarde Metal formation MEKONG DELTA.

The album is a kind of audio-diary. The protagonist makes his way through 13 short-stories dealing with smaller or larger tragedies of every day's life. Cold and misanthropic bureaucracy in "QMF08/15", barely legal attraction for an online-model in "Mary 1am" or pure auto-aggression ("The Blinded") – THE HEALING tells many tragedies of the here and now, which are part of the stage performance during concerts. The superficially light-footed "Pop Star" is nothing else than a sarcastic potshot towards the uniformity of the casting-show-industry.
